First 8 counts: Cuban side steps right,
back steps with knee pops
1-2 Step R foot to right side, step L foot next to R foot
3-4 Step R foot to right side, touch L foot next to R foot with L
knee bent*
5-6 Step back on L foot popping R knee forward, step back on R foot
popping L knee forward
7-8 Step back on L foot popping R knee forward, step back on R foot
popping L knee forward
*Styling note for count 5: Remember,
you traveled right, so your R knee is first to pop forward when stepping
back.
Second 8 (9-16): Cuban side steps left,
forward steps with knee pops
1-2 Step L foot to left side, step R foot next to L foot
3-4 Step L foot to left side, touch R foot next to L foot with R knee
