Choreographer note:
Here's a step sheet for a dance that I've choreographed, called Loose Cannon. I like it very much (of course :) and have gotten what appears to be sincere enthusiasm from the people I've shown and taught it to. I don't know how it looks and don't much care, but I love the way it feels. It was choreographed to Big Mexican Dinner--it fits that song well and is somewhat energetic and peppy, but to my surprise it seems to be a different dance altogether--more sensuous or emotional or something--when done to slower west coast swing songs. Right now my favorite thing is to dance it late at night, when most people have left the bar and there's plenty of space on the floor, to Chris Isaak's Wicked Game. Puts me in kind of a trance--I lose myself in it.

Anyway, I hope you'll give it a try and enjoy it. Let me know what you think, and I would, of course, be happy to answer any questions. This is "translated" from a desktop-published version that's prettier, and I'd be happy to snail mail anyone a copy. (Or I suppose I could scan it.) The two letters on the right of each line represent the direction you should be facing (North, South, East, or West), and the foot your weight should be on (Left or Right) *after* you complete the line. You shouldn't need to consult that unless there's some confusion about the instructions.

And I would, of course, be happy to help with any problems.
