Walls: 1 wall line dance
Level: Beginner +
Count: 44 counts for first two reps, 48 counts for third rep

Music: Cry Of The Celts by Ronan Hardison
(Track #1 of the Lord Of The Dance CD)
Reel Prelude is designed to be done as a prelude to the Electric Reel dance,
when done to track #1 of the Lord Of The Dance CD. Track #1 consists of 1 minute
intro, 1 minute flute interlude, and the remainder
is what the Electric Reel dance is done to. Reel Prelude starts at exactly the
1:00 minute mark, which is when the flute begins, and continues until the
Electric Reel dance music starts. We enjoy this as an alternative to the track
#16 music due to the fact that track #16 gives the dancers very
little time to get on the floor. The dance goes quite well with the flute
interlude. Julie did a great job with this!
Beats 45-48 are only for the 3rd (last) repetition of the dance.
The first two reps are only 44 beats long.

Leading Kick-Ball-Change (beats 47&48)is done, you start the Electric Reel dance.

Here is a new dance that was choreographed by my best
friend Julie.Do you like the Electric Reel? Do you like Track #1 of the Lord of the Dance
CD, but don't like having to wait so long for the intro and flute solo to get over with so
you can start dancing? This is the solution. Reel Prelude is meant to be danced to the
flute solo on track #1, and as the dance ends the third repetition, you start dancing the
Electric Reel. We have a good time with it.X-Original-Poster: cracked@onslowonline.net
